This is not a critique of the music, per se, but nobody who loved the 80s would ever make a playlist like this. Some of these songs aren’t even from the 80s (Hold On, All for One, Release Me). Breakfast at Tiffany’s is closer to being a song of the 2000s than a song of the 80s. It released in 1995.

That's a classic! This is 80s pop. I have another playlist for 80s rock https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5I31QKcsIdaJ9ekRvBSC92?si=ZMwMxgWCQGWyDF51n5HI2g

All jokes aside, ton of good songs in the playlist! Love the new wave/powerpop lean to it.

Might be personal bias, but I think it could do with some more Fleetwood Mac! Christine was at the top of her game on Tango in the Night, and there are some underrated gems on Mirage, too. I love "Book of Love"
