Music has never been easier to discover and enjoy. As someone who grew up using cd players and such, I think it's amazing at just how accessible everything is these days. Whether you're an old head wanting to listen to the Iron Maiden discography, or someone who wants to hear every new and experimental piece of art there is something for everyone. I can get caught for hours discovering new music and not even realize it.

Anyways, that's all folks.

Edit 2: Wow guys! This really blew up! I appreciate all of the support and the CONSTRUCTIVE comments.

I do agree with the general sentiment. Yes, streaming does pay the artists pennies to the dollar. But try to remember that there are many ways to support an artist. And with the accessibility of the streaming platforms there are so many artists that you would NEVER stumble across in the previous era. I would rather an artis gets paid $20 and is able to build a small, and loyal fan base than make 1 demo and give up because no one would ever hear your stuff.

There are a lot of nostalgic reasons to remember the MP3 and CD era by, but having the library of the entire world at the push of a button will always stump the narrower option from before.

And to everyone saying that "all new music sucks"... come on. It's truly a shame if you feel that was because while the surface is more homogenized than ever, the underground and independent artists are pushing the boundaries so far and blurring the lines of what was previously "allowed". Creative expression is at a point never before seen. Sometimes opening your mind even by . 01% can have huge benefits in discovery.

Anyways thanks again for all the support. Until next time. Cheers.
