Yeah very late bloomer. I thought it was hard core rep but one of the most popular songs of his is unlike you which is very urban RnB. Does he have anything else that sounds similar? I listened to a few tracks but they don’t sound like it. Really digging this song right now.

No shame. I discovered post malone during covid downtime. Actually saw him on a ghost show & asked “who is he supposed to be”, my son played a few tunes. Damn. Hooked. Super talented with a broad range of styles. He can actually sing. Welcome to the party.

Absolutely. Loving his I Like You (Happier Song). A bit of vulgar language but it's pretty tame. I'm more of the softer type of song kind of person but will keep an open mind about the other songs as I go.

When I discovered Post Malone it was digging through my trashcan for skinny jeans. I shooed him away with a broom. I think he wrote the song Circles about the experience.

He’s in my City this month and I’ll see him for the first time live. Anyone here seen him perform live before? Feedback??

His 2016 festival shows are legendary for how terrible they were but he started getting his shit together after that. He headlined Bonnaroo in 2019 and I went in with really low expectations but thought he did a good job. The sound was good and his vocal mix was clear. There was no band or anything but my buddy went to his current tour and showed me videos of a huge stage setup which looked pretty cool. I thought Phish and Childish Gambino were a lot better but if you like Post enough to buy tickets to his show you'll have a really great time.

Post Malone actually doesn't consider himself a rapper from what I recall, but that interview was probably ages ago. You'd probably like Circles, it's one of his songs that blew up on the radio lately.
