no clue why they did it to be honest.
Jazz Police - Leonard Cohen
Lmao I was just scrolling through to see other answers while trying to decide if I really felt that strongly negative about the musicality of Closing Time.
Closing time has funny lyrics and is good for ending the concert on a lighter note
I don't disagree the lyrics are his usual clever and thoughtful self. Just not a fan of some of the instrumentation.
It’s not in my top 100. But it’s better than “Jazz poooolice I hear you calling, Jazz poooLeeeeece I feel so blue, Jazz pOooooolice…”
And yet... I love it. So cringey when I first heard it. I might choose another Montreal artist though.... "My body is a cage...." Arcade fire sure stuck with the dumbest metaphor on that literary and musical turd.
Haha I like that bit! Reminds me of the Star Trek theme tune. Which is the main thing I'm looking for in a Leonard Cohen song, obviously.
Run For Your Life - Beatles
Lennon also hated the song so you're not alone there.
I always kinda liked that one. Interesting change of pace from the soppy lovey dovey stuff they normally put out, though I dig that too. Kinda punk rock in a way.
The lyrics are misogynist trash and given John Lennon’s track record with women makes it a piece of garbage.
Totally agree, except I still dig the song. Long live Cynthia Lennon.
Catch you with another mannn thats the enD
We are all on drugs - Weezer
This one
Everything syd Barret made. pink Floyd is my favourite band, but I just don’t know what’s the fascination with the music syd made. I respect syd, but I don’t like the music from that PF era
I tend to agree, however Lucifer Sam does exist and that song slaps
No way you hate See Emily play too :(
Unfortunately none of that music connected with me. Whereas the music made during the rogers era and even the gilmour era has literally been an integral part of my musical journey. Unfortunately, I tried liking it but nope :(

We Will Fall by The Stooges. That whole first album is amazing groundbreaking Proto-punk and then that song is 3 times as long as any other song on that album and aimlessly meanders until it mercifully ends

You Are Not Alone - Michael Jackson
I love that song lmao but that song is a bit out of character for MJ
All in the family by Korn
This was one of my first thoughts lol
"Thank God Its Christmas" by Queen. Just a horrible dirge.
I don't really hate anything New Order has done, but Depeche Mode is probably my second favorite and I cannot stand Blasphemous Rumours.
All of my love- Led Zeppelin
It's awful
Sort of is but compared to the Crunge? Oh the Crunge is the Cringe. Someone seriously needed to teach RP to stop playing with lemon juice so much. Dude kept getting it on his legs...
I think All of my Love is fine, but I'll say D'yer Mak'er is an instant skip for me.

I’m not a big fan of Zepp but have you heard the Eek-a-Mouse cover of Dyer Maker?
Primus - Antipop
Either Fight For Your Right or Girls by Beastie Boys. I don't hate those songs per say and License To Ill is a great album but god everything the Beastie Boys did after was so much better
I'm not a big fan of Don't Want to Miss a Thing by Aerosmith.
arctic monkeys has all the best songs but if I had to say one, it would be golden trunks, not that it's horrible, I just didn't like it
while ''hate'' is a strong word but Now is my least favorite Paramore track because the song's redundant af hook derails it for me (the Now-ow-ow refrain in particular) which is sad cause i dig the instrumental and Hayley's vocal delivery on the track.
Smells like tiene spirits - nirvana I dont hate it but its so overvalued xd
Disturbed - Sounds of Silence
Agree. Disturbed is fine but that’s gotta be the worst cover of any song ever 🤮

Relative - “Still Breathe”
Good song, just not as good as their other stuff.
“Third World” is my favorite song by them tho
I love Herbie Hancock, but this song straight up fucking sucks.
Rush - Dog Years
Lambs - Johnny Manchild and the Poor Bastards
I don’t HATE it, but I also don’t like it. I skip it 9 times out of 10.
Be Concerned - Twenty One Pilots
I'm not really a fan of Cosmic sea or Vacant planets by death. Human is definitely their most influential album though.
The Angel and the Gambler by Iron Maiden.
Death grips - fuck me out
Lyla-Oasis. Laziest songwriting they ever managed to achieve. Musically and lyrically junk. So many great album tracks and b-sides, yet that was a number 1 single…

Hot take but I dislike rocket skates by deftones, the intro guitar is cool but I hate the rest
Anything off Megadeth's Risk. Just why?
Was trust on that album ? Thought that’s a good song
…nevermind actually, trust is on cryptic writings
Yeah no Cryptic is a solid album. The only half decent song on Risk was Crush Em and even that kinda stinks...
Brown Eyed Girl-Van Morrison. I love his entire catalogue but I’d heard this song 200 times by the time I was 16.
In The Air Tonight - Nonpoint
Unfortunately, probably all of Coheed & Cambria's last album.
It was just...unbelievably bad. I can't even bring myself to listen to it a second time. They went through a weird few years where Claudio didn't know how to continue the concept albums so they did Color Before the Sun, which before the last album I considered their weakest album. Then they came roaring back, dropping the absolute banger Vaxis I. After Vaxis I, I was super hyped for Vaxis II. After the COVID hiatus, they finally released the "Shoulders" single, which was a pretty good track so I was excited for more. Imagine my disappointment when they finally dropped the full album and it was like they took all the things that made Color Before the Sun bad and fused it with this onslaught of Lady Gaga-esque pop. It was like they took the winning formula from Vaxis I and all the other things that made their concept albums great in the past and threw it out the window.
Listening to Vaxis II was the physical embodiment of "My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined."
Interesting. I actually love Color Before the Sun. Wasn't huge on Vaxis I. I think Vaxis II is a little better than I, and I think Color Before the Sun is better than both of those. I'm about to blaspheme right now and say that I don't really like the first Good Apollo, but I think Good Apollo 2 is awesome. I feel your sentiment though, although Coheed has always done whatever they wanted from the very beginning, I do wish they'd get a bit more creative again.
You. Don't. Like. Good. Apollo. I....????????
I can't believe such words were ever spoken. Good Apollo I is one of the greatest prog albums ever written. Ugh...I need to sit down before I vomit.
In all seriousness though, I'm not saying Color is a bad album, it was just the weakest from a writing standpoint compared to all the others. Island is a fun song, You Got Spirit Kid is fun, Atlas is good. Personally Peace to the Mountain is my favorite off that album. But all the other tracks just seem to fall short. I give it like a 6.5/10.
Vax is I brought us back into the Coheed we all knew and loved. Dark story telling, heavy, shifting prog riffs, thundering bangers, but also mellower sounds to help cleanse the palate and let the listener breathe. A great prog album is like a 10 course dinner that keeps everyone on their toes while controlling the flow of the art. Vaxis I is a great prog album. Vaxis II felt like a bunch of recycled riffs and it wasn't even until Track 10 (10 out of 13!!!!) where we finally got to hear something resembling a banger.
I know..but I'll admit that I like good Apollo I more after seeing them play it in full a few years ago now. And I get what you're saying. Other than Beautiful Losers, the first real track, it's not until the end that we get what we really came for.
As for Coheed as a whole, I've come a long way as far as liking them goes. In high-school I tried IKS, I bought it Walmart even. Gave it away immediately. I even was that douche bag making fun of people for liking them. Many years later I came around to them. IKS is 10/10 for me now. Top shelf stuff lol.
Steely Dan - It’s a toss up between Dirty Work and Peg
Dirty work might as well be Chicago. Too 70s sounding for my taste. A few other songs could probably fit this description, especially on CBAT. I love Steely Dan because they generally don’t sound like all of the other bands in the 70s
In Peg, I absolutely hate Michael McDonald screaming PEEAG at the top of the chorus. It’s not a bad song, but it’s extremely popular and that’s why it makes my list
311 - Last Straw
Not as big a fan as I once was, but drunk and hot girls by kanye. And that's only if you don't consider any of his albums after the life of pablo.
This one it's just too aggressive
Eminem - Fack
Every girl crazy about a sharp dressed man ZZ Top
Awww…I like the Sharp Dressed Man, though I do agree it’s played out
To be honest Florence + the Machine hasn't put out a song I don't like in SOME capacity but there is always one on the bottom of the totem pole and for me that is " Kiss With A Fist "
It's from the first album and it's a nod to her time in a different band before she started her own and found her own sound? It was definitely more pop-punk inspired and that's not usually my thing.
I do like hearing it every now and again but it's usually left out of my rotation.
No, Kiss with a Fist is still one of her best songs. She hasn’t really done anything like it since.
I think she hasn't had one like it since,
BECAUSE she has gotten better and outgrown it.
It's not a style that fits her as well and is the only song of hers that I feel like . . . has a time capsule element to it? To where you HAVE to be in that Pop-punk era mood for it and that's just NOT my genre.
I thought I absolutely hated Paramore because that era had such bad music for the most part. ( I found out I like SOME Paramore songs but that's another story )
But yeah I think it's easily at the bottom. I like it but it's definitely the worst, but I'd still give it a 7.5/10
"Here Again" by Rush. But I don't hate it; it's just kind of slow, dull, and uninspired. Luckily it was stuck at the end of side 2 of their first album way back in 1974, so it's easy to just skip over.
Sliver - Nirvana

Yesterday
Anything in slipknot vol.3: subliminal verses. Including duality. Before I forget and maybe vermillon are less worse but whole album feel so much of a downfall from their previous album IOWA (even if vol.3 is prob their most successful project so I feel the hate from the others maggot comming)
Prince- SEXY MF (hate the rapping)
George Michael- Freeek (I just didn't like it)
There's definitely others, these are just my favourite artists atm.
Metallica - Mama Said. Metallica just flat out shouldn't be doing country. And even then, it's not even good country.
“Friday I’m in Love” by The Cure
Aeroplane-red hot chili peppers

man who sold the world- nirvana. I don't know why but I find it a bit boring
Sounds like you’ve never lost control, but who knows…not me.
it’s not even their song, it’s a David Bowie cover
yes, I know that... but like nirvanas version just like I don't know how to say it but like I just don't really like it.
Seek and Destroy - Metallica
This is a big surprise for me! Probably the first Metallica song i couldn't stop listening to
Creep - Radiohead
"Zombie" by The Cranberries. God, that song is just both overplayed and absolutely awful. Their best material included their softer, romantic or sentimental tunes. Stuff like "Dreams", "Linger", "Ode to My Family" or "You and Me" played to their strengths whereas "Zombie" or "Salvation" felt overwrought and hollow.
What about Free To Decide by The Cranberries. Kinda happy, kinda sappy. Kinda drool. Sounds like you’d like it.
Not really. To the Faithful Departed ranks among my least favorite albums by The Cranberries. That tune does nothing for me.
News flash buddy I don’t think you like The Cranberries lol
Everybody Else Is Doing It... is easily their best album as it's their most consistent. No Need to Argue also has great tunes despite "Zombie". "Ode to My Family" sincerely moves me to tears.
Just because I don't like "Zombie" or "Salvation" doesn't mean I dislike them.
I dont remember the song when it came out, but it's resurgence the last few years has just been unpleasant to my ears. I must've blocked it out of mind when I was younger.
All apologies - Nirvana
