Havent heard this track in a long time, remember liking it. Should I play it again?

Anyone else enjoy Limp Bizkits version of this?

Yes, it's exactly how a cover should be done. Enough of their own style poured into it, whether you like it or not is up to you but they made it their own in a very good way. Much better than their cover of Behind Blue Eyes.

That’s how I was introduced to this song. It came out in 1997 when I was 10 and I didn’t even realize it was a cover.

It depends on what you mean by enjoy. I think that growling the chorus of an upbeat 80s pop song is hilarious, but I wouldn't say that it's good.

Love this album! When the first song transitions from the church organ to the guitar my whole disposition brightens up. You can’t help but get into it!

Yes, pop greatness, but Listen Without Prejudice vol 1 is an even better album.

I've always thought Faith is one of the greatest pop albums, while Listen Without Prejudice is simply one of the greatest albums, full stop.

Fuck. Thanks for the reminder. Crazy how old we are.

When my dad was my age, he had two kids in college. Meanwhile, I am living my best life, child free!

Great album. Also makes a great reference record. You can get really clean copies on vinyl for cheap. I highly recommend doing so.

Monkey is a song about drug addiction not an actual monkey.

True. It’s just the song. Just hate it. Just does not blend in with the Album.

Groundbreaking at the time. One of the great seminal albums in a year full of them.

Obsessed with this album when I was 10. So much so, that I took my fake diamond earring out of my ear and put a dangling cross in that I bought with my paper route money.

Judaism and a pissed off mother aside, I felt cooler than I ever had and ever would. Ever again.

The song I still come back to on this album is "Kissing a Fool". The last single released from the album.

George's take on Sinatra-era songwriting. The arrangement, the instrumentation, it highlights the range in his voice and how this hushed song builds into that frenetic ending (and then the resignation of realizing that it's not meant to be) is brilliant.
