I'm curious to hear about albums released in the last 5 years or so. All my favorites are from classic rock, alt and grunge era and it seems like newer music is singles-oriented rather than album.

Is there a recent album that rivals Dark Side of the Moon, Rumours or Nevermind?

From the past 5 years, frequent revisits include:

SZA - Ctrl

Turnstile - GLOW ON

The 1975 - A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships

Kacey Musgraves - Golden Hour

Lana Del Rey - Norman Fucking Rockwell

Quite a few more I like a lot too, but haven't revisited as often as these.

Considering music is subjective, its hard to say. But good point, recent years ive been obsessed with The Mars Volta new album, Muse - Will of the People.... its definitely more about single songs these days

Courtney Barnett: The Double EP: A Sea of Split Peas(2013), and Tell Me How You Really Feel(2018)

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard: Polygondwanaland(2017), Nonagon Infinity(2016), Murder of the Universe(2017)

Note on Gizz: they have ~25 albums from 2012-2022 and they’re all good, so if you like what you hear and need help navigating just ask
