Well it depends, if his literary works (Knut Hamsun) have been a foundation for people becoming nazi sympathizers, perhaps a bit more moral consciousness is in place. About Kanye, It’s difficult, there have been so many instances where he’s just borderline denying holocaust, or casually whataboutisming away from it, and so many other literal insane shit he’s said in the past couple weeks, that I think, even him having an manic episode, does not mean he’s not to be blamed for anything. This is such a big event, where all types of lines are being crossed, which emboldens neonazi’s, fascists and white supremacists in their ability to cross lines they weren’t able before. It’s, at least for me, impossible to deconnect his music from his behavior lately, since music is art, which is expression, which in turn is an extension of a person.
