Don't know a lot of albums from the 1800's or before.

Ok Album might have been the wrong term, maybe piece of written music?

Handel's Water Music and Vivaldi's Four Seasons would be in the running.

Nobody had recorded albums yet but there were operas and symphonies. Mozart's operas often make the "best of all time" lists. I'd pick Don Giovanni.

There were a few sets of printed music in the 19th century described as 'albums', particularly in the German speaking world.

The best album before then was probably something like Edison saying "Is this thing working?"
