Future, Travis Scott, and X combined do not come even remotely close to the impact Kendrick Lamar has had on hip hop

Good that you mentioned. I've listened to hiphop for quite some time. Could you care to explain? I've always though of music like visual artists. As an example, Future's 2011 XXL cypher got brutally maulled by Yt commenters but what you cannot deny is the impact he has had on rap in the 2010s. Music has many facets and I understand traditionalists like Kdot in the sense he is carrying the torch. I also agree that you may hate Travis Scott because he can't sing s--- (literally) and is 120% autotune but he has more streams as well his whole 'ambient' rap style (autotune as an art form). Based on your statement, it would be like denying abstract art and its role in the evolution of visual arts just because "my kid could do it as well" . . .

Apologies, got a bit carried away. I would definitely not call myself a stan but objectively speaking, or just based on streaming numbers, he has had a rippling impact.
