Calgary and Thunder Bay get some good ones.

I live in Calgary and can mostly confirm that, but even a Beatles reunion and residence wouldn't make it worth living in Tbay lol

Not usually. Most bands I want to see do Toronto, Vancouver and maybe Montreal. A band like Phish hasn't played any Canadian city except Toronto since probably 1993...and they tour every year.

Isn't that like, half of Canada's population right there though?

If you're from the GTA, it's actually the entire known universe

Unrelated, since I'm laughably ignorant about Canadian geography, I Googled the drive between those cities. Google will. not. stay. in. Canada. Like arm wrestling a Python, it wants to keep the drive 90% in the USA. Seems... questionable.

Yeah it does that. If you're along the border you need to drop checkpoints or the service is basically useless

I did that drive in six days, but it was no Cannonball run lol

I can always tell when a tour booker doesn’t know geography when the Buffalo/Rochester/Syracuse/Albany/etc dates are nowhere near the Toronto/Ottawa/Montreal dates.

Or when the Buffalo and Boston dates are back to back. Ok, you can do it, but no
