Can you help me think of this artist?

Trying to find an “Artist” I listened to as a kid. I’m pretty sure his name was something along the lines of “the man on the Milky Way”. From memory he was wearing a cosmic pair of PJ’s on the album cover with a beanie (maybe a pom Pom on top) “I caught an ooie-gooie* and I tell ya what I did, I put him in the frying pan and slammed on the lid” are some lyrics I remember. A link or a photo would mean the world.

I should add I’m from Australia, but I’m not sure if he was or not. I’m pretty sure he made kids music, but I can’t remember. I’ve tried googling those lyrics but I couldn’t find anything

Thanks for that. I give it a whirl, but no luck. I could be way off with my lyrics considering it was near 30 years ago. Any other suggestions where I might ask this? Is this a suitable sub reddit for this question?

I found it! Someone had a suggestion over there, it wasn’t right, but it brought up a video of the guy and I was able to find this from there. Thank you for your suggestion. If I wasn’t poor I would give you an award! Thank you so much. franciscus Henry - oopy goopy
