Really? When I first heard it I was blown away at how good it was. AFI's version is best but it still works being The Offspring.

I’ve been an AFI fan for a long time. If I remember correct. This cover was played on the radio because it was the offspring. This ended up helping AFI get Days of the Phoenix played on the radio. I could be wrong, it’s been a while, but that’s how I remember it.

It’s what got me interested in AFI, right before Days of the Phoenix. Circa Black Sails era, I think.

Edit: and because AFI was on Nitro Records at the time, it was a cool move from The Offspring to immediately promote their best signing.
