Absolutely! His solo stuff just kept getting worse though. By having an…enforced career break…the memory remains of his as the early Beatle and not the later versions (cf Van Morrison, Morrisey, Eric Clapton etc).

Actually, I’m being a miserable curmudgeon. It was a lighthearted merry question and my personal dislike is souring the conversation.

Christmas is all about the songs that make us feel good, so who am I to pour scorn on your choice.
