I think Just Like Christmas by Low is untouchable.
It’s a holly jolly banger, totally appropriate for a wintery festivities. But the emotion of the song runs deep— if you care to engage with the message, it‘ll absolutely make your heart grow three sizes.

Absolutely! His solo stuff just kept getting worse though. By having an…enforced career break…the memory remains of his as the early Beatle and not the later versions (cf Van Morrison, Morrisey, Eric Clapton etc).

Actually, I’m being a miserable curmudgeon. It was a lighthearted merry question and my personal dislike is souring the conversation.
