I’m kind of afraid of actually meeting people I have admired. I’m semi convinced they will all be jerks and that would be sad.

That said, I’d really like to see John Coltrane play. We don’t need to talk.

David Bowie would be my #1 pick. I love his music, and he seems like a cool, interesting person to meet

Jimi Hendrix. I'd like to smoke a few bowls with him and just sit and listen to him talk about his experiences.

Nick Drake. He died in relative obscurity, before his music had a cult resurgence. Would love to tell him how much I loved his music.

Paganini, Mozart, Henry VIII. Quite a few of the obvious ones are self obsessed junkies, so may as well go for a bit of history!

Alessia Cara and Taylor Swift. And also the guys from 5SOS.

Diana Ross. Only been a year but I have become quite the big fan of her music. She’s still got it after many years, and she’s a very committed and kind soul to go to. So there’s my top one to meet!

David Gilmour. He's always been one of my favorite musicians and guitarists of all time, and he's also what makes up the basis for Pink Floyd

John Lennon because he’s the only 1 I can think of with something to say. If I did not have to know them I would pull one from Uruk around the time they were writing the epic of Gilgamesh. I’m sure the songs might have interesting tails.

Alive. At best the dead ones would smell, or be a pile of ashes.

Not sure I would like to meet any dead musicians. Unsettling to say the least.

I met him (one year at the Montreal jazz festival, he was on his way to his room, got on the same elevator [I was already headed in when he entered]), I had to thank him for all the music over the years - and he ended taking 20 minutes to talk to me. Very warm, funny, kind & down to earth.
