So let’s say this past week I discovered Godspeed you and Tortoise and other post rock jazz likish artists and all I have been listening to since my childhood has been Justin Bieber, Eminem, Taylor Swift, and the like.
I’m. Just. Blown. Away.
I got FUCKING HIGH listening to Tortoise’s TNT. And I haven’t smoked in my ENTIRE LIFE.
Wait what have I been doin with my life till now? Music has soooo much to offer oh my gosh it’s mindblowing.
Not that those respectable artists were… mediocre but… just… it’s another world these new artists have to offer.
Can somebody please introduce some artists and bands like Godspeed you and Tortoise? I’m really diggin these right now. Thanks!
