I saw a couple of videos recently showing Metallica HQ. I thought it was pretty interesting that they have a sort of clubhouse for themselves to hang out, practice and record. Do any other big bands have the same thing? Links very much appreciated.

Genesis have The Farm. It's their own recording studio. By the time they built it in 1980 they had already recorded all of their best albums (in my opinion), but they did go on to well deserved commercial success.

I’d seek professional help if I liked Pearl Jam too.

I would expect every band has a jam space; whether it is a basement, a garage or a penthouse has more to do with their finances.

A former example was Paisley Park (until Prince died).
Granted it's more associated with him as an individual, but his band did (most? all? of) their recording there.

Metallica are well-known for spending outrageous amounts of money on stupid shit instead of good equipment or using their time to practice their instruments and actually do their jobs.
