Does anyone even buy albums anymore? I figured it’s all streaming singles.

Haven’t listened to any except for Smithereens, but I wouldn’t even put it top 100. It sounded like an unfinished demo album to me.

The songs didn’t sound fully fleshed out to me like they were half finished or something. Could’ve been a really good album if they were. Not sure why you’re being hostile.

Accurate for you maybe but it’s not at all accurate for someone else since music taste is subjective. I’ve only heard one of those albums and it doesn’t even crack my top 20

I don't see Florence + the Machine's album, list is inaccurate.

Ah you definitely gotta.

" Choreomania " - " Daffodil " - " Cassandra " and " Dream Girl Evil " are greaaaat.

" Heaven is Here " and " My Love " too.

Other people love " King " and " Free " but they're on the bottom of the song list for me. But other people swear they're the best songs on the album. The ONLY song that was a miss for me was " Back in Town "

It’s not perfect but it does a lot more in 20 minutes than a lot of albums do in an hour+. I think people don’t like it because it’s different.

edit: for the record i’m talking about the song structure and ideas also

Come on. Almost all artists still release collections of songs 30-75 minutes in length. Shorter is typically considered and EP, longer a double album.

Singles are…single songs, sometimes released standalone.

I think everyone knows what album means, regardless of whether you are streaming or buying a physical media, or digital files for that matter.

Thanks for the song suggestions, I listened to all of them.

First off, the good:

The Lamar suggestions are solid. He’s pretty universally celebrated, but I hadn’t listened to anything from this album. Solid. I liked this more than what I have listened to before from other albums, even though I think this one hasn’t been as broadly celebrated.

Joji was good as well, I’ll listen to some more of that album, but the song you suggested was really good.

I didn’t like the Cudi song quite as much, but is was pretty good as well.

The not so good:

I’ve never liked music like Drake, but I’ve never listened to him, so I gave it a whirl. Definitely not for me.

Similar with Lacy, but that one was definitely better than Drake for me

Given that we have pretty different music taste, I think 3/5 was pretty good!
