I consider Michael Jackson’s Dangerous album to be the greatest album cover of all time. Every time I look at it I find new details or stuff I had never seen before.

John Baizley of Baroness is a visual artist and has done album art for Baroness, Pig Destroyer, and a bunch of other bands. Rad stuff, his work is recognizable once you become familiar with his style. Jacob Bannon of Converge is another; I think he’s done the art for all of Converge’s records. Same with Ethan McCarthy of Primitive Man. Their sophomore record’s album art, Caustic, is so eye-catching to me. Massive Attack also has great album art- 3D is a sick artist.

obZen and Demanufacture have some cool album covers. I just saw Meshuggah in October at Aftershock and I'm gonna see Fear Factory in February for that Static-X tour. I can tell you like a lot of genres lol. I listen to a lot of nu metal but I do love classical.

Yes Is known for having some great album covers during their High Prog era. Fragile, Tales from Topographic Oceans, and Close to the Edge (particularly the inner-sleeve) are all great.
