It should not be about whether they will make a comeback or not. Because that is somewhat a form of external validation to feel better about your CD collection. The bottom line is how attached are you at your collection and also if you really listen to the music on that specific format.

I wouldnt toss any single CD because if I bought them it's because I do/did want to have the music.
