Nope. Rock has been declared dead every couple of years since the 1970s (Lester Bangs was particularly adamant that it was pushing up the daisies) and there's always been someone following right behind with something new. And whatever you think the best rock album ever is currently, the idea that we've already heard the best rock album that ever will be is kind of depressing.
