Before the pitchfork article about him being a total scumbag, I always enjoyed Mark Kozelek's Christmas album. His cover of 2000 Miles by The Pretenders was gorgeous. Love the Sufjan Christmas stuff though.

Gary Hoey - Ho Ho Hoey. A collection of various types of guitar centric musical recreations of Christmas songs. Phenomenal playing and tonal diversity.

I have a John Denver and The Muppets Christmas album. It’s not bad actually. Then I have Pac Man Christmas…which is just weird

A Lump of Coal is a great VA album, including a retelling of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas by Henry Rollins.

Bad Relion’s Christmas Songs is great. And all the proceeds go to charities that help kids abused by priests.
