I looked them up on Spotify. And in trying to place their sound I looked at 'Fans also like' section.... and I knew NONE of the bands there.

Am I out of touch? No... No it's the children who are wrong.

Nah. I find the same and I am constantly looking for new music. I think the more obscure the band the more obscure the relative suggestions become.
