Help!!! I'm Hooked on the "The Walking Dead" intro song... Ineed more similar ominous spooky songs in my life...

I've always gravitated towards ominous songs like this and I recently started watching TWD and I love the intro song so much im not even sure if I watch it for the story or because I'm just hooked on that intro.

I'm not sure if the intro changes in later seasons so I'm just talking about the first season.

So I was wondering if anyone had any idea what this kind of genre is and if anyone had some sources to similar kinds of songs or could just point me in the right direction... perhaps from certain videogames?

Idk if it’s a perfect fit (because it’s been years since I’ve watched TWD) but try the album “f# a# infinity” by Godspeed you black emperor. Probably would call it post rock but most of the album is very bleak and ominous.

The soundtrack to It Follows is full of gems.

Likewise the Silent Hill soundtracks have always been a fantastic source of creepy.
