For me it can be either or neither. Music is transportive though, mental, physical and emotional.

Maybe a psilly analogy but it can be somewhat like a mini psychedelic trip. Music can take you places and sometimes it’s good to along for the ride and you might come out the other side with a new perspective…mental, physical or emotional.
