I suppose the flipside is the amount of times I've discovered a new artist who passed away or lived a tragic life. Still love discovering a discography, but it's more like a Christmas after a family member died -- tinged with sadness.

Yep, definitely one of the great joys in life. Most recently for me, it has been The Tragically Hip and New Order.

Literally happening to me now with $uicideboy$, I put them on shuffle and literally song after song is a banger.

Finding a new band, then finding a song that blows away the first one you fell in love with. Then an entirely new band that may or may not be related to the first band.

Do yourself a favour and give Sparks a try. They’ve been at it for 50 years yet their recent albums are as good if not better than any other in their career. It’s quite the discography.

I discovered Pup on their third record! So great to listen to the early stuff. I highly recommend Reservoir if you haven't heard Pup.
