I know some people prefer "Joy As An Act of Resistance" or "Brutalism" but this is one of my favorite albums ever. It has a lot of great performances, interesting guitar tones, and really tight grooves. Car Crash, MTT 420 RR, Progress, and The Beachland Ballroom are my highlights.

There are no speakers loud enough to properly play "The Wheel".

It's not a bad album per se, but I think they were trying to do too much at that time. Huge boom in popularity from Joy as an Act of Resistance, lots of touring, then going right into Ultra Mono. Maybe it's just me, but it felt rushed.
