Ok, I'm older, GenX. mostly a punk rock and old rap guy. Recently heard Miley cover Nothing Else Matters and also Fergie blow out Paradise City and was pretty surprised. Any other surprising covers like these?

There is a number of albums called Punk goes Pop that is the inverse of these. I was not aware Pop also went Punk. Neat.

Punk goes everything lol. I was just surprised to hear it the other way around. Fergie can really belt.

Love the interrupters, but I'm looking for pop chicks doing metal or similar

It almost always goes better the other way around. Every pop song ever outside a few exceptions sounds better as a rock/metal song.
