Iron Maiden. Had their posters as a teen but never listened to anything by them. Now I really like them.

I’m a metalhead since the early 90s, but Bruce Dickinson’s vocals were always just a little too operatic for my taste. Along comes my 9 y/o son who just loves some Hallowed Be Thy Name and now I’m a virgin Maiden fan 40 years late.

I've got really into 90s rap. I'm still dipping my toes but love WuTang and Public enemy. Especially how it can jump between politics and philosophy and rage and it all sounds so good.

I’m mainly a rock/metal guy but I love Wu-Tang and also NAS, Jurassic 5, MF Doom, Mos Def, Beastie Boys..

It's the lyrics that get me. Like you can get a rock song with amazing lyrics that speak right to your soul, but then rap can just shoot it out the air like a machine gun in 4 lines and keep gunning that strong for an entire song

You’re gonna want to check out the soundtracks for Office Space and the GTA V San Andreas video game

Mine was blues music, I hated it 20 years ago. Now I love it. Half of my CD and LP collection is blues.

Blues is the basis for all modern rock/metal if I’m not mistaken. Give me some good old Bo Diddley any day. I know John Lee Hooker, BB King, etc were also legends, but I probably liked Bo the best.

I hated hip-hop and rap 10-15 years ago, I think it is brilliant now.
