Hi everyone I am new to this reddit group but anyway I have either a song or apiece of instrumental music stuck in my head right now however I do not know who the artist is, what decade or language the song may or may not have been in e.g. english or another language or all I know is the hook i think it's something like doc a cher o doc a cher or noc a shar/cher o noc a shar/char na nad na na nad na, apologies if I butchered that spelling but I don't know how to better pronounce what i'm trying to say so could anyone help me thanks.

Wayne Newton sounds like a woman, so you might have actually heard his original version; he was a teenager when he sang it.

I'm not sure what the instruments it has by me saying instrumental i was on about classical as some pieces have lyrics in foreign like opera and others don't so i couldn't just say classical like ava maria is classical but has lyrics in foreign language but i've heard it before but not sure of name or anything part from how i've heard it sound in the past i was thinking it could be french, italian, spanish or another language entirely all i remember is there was a scene from a crime gangster film where someone walks around in a strip club and some woman is pole dancing and this music is playing whilst shes pole dancing and men are throwing dollars at her.

Google has a feature that can detect songs from humming. Give that a try.
