Can I ask you why you put there only gouge away? I’d consider most early pixies songs perfect. Especially due to the fact that a lot of em are perfect due to tiny imperfections. And they fit perfectly. Cmon, I can’t imagine half the media without where is my mind? Or references to this song and at the same time fight club. Actually you’re right! All Pixies songs would be perfect if they were just a bit longer;)

I believe the “rock single”, is an art form in itself. There are a few perfect ones that come to mind… Little Deuce Coupe, The Beach Boys. Please Please Me, The Beatles. Hello, I Love You, The Doors. There are many others…those are just some examples.

Fleetwood Mac has multiple singers. Check out a compilation or a Spotify algorithm. Everywhere just happens to be my favorite.
