I’m glad the city is trying to tackle this problem but we really need federal and state resources. To operate shelters and provide supportive housing.

Yeah, especially when places like New York and other places are trying to shift their share of the problem onto Newark.

Yup, especially the state. The majority of the homeless population in this state is in Newark and the state is happy to keep them out of sight, out of mind.
