Because most of the illegal guns are straw purchases.

It's almost impossible to catch someone doing this cause they can just claim it was "stolen".

This. The iron corridor runs from Georgia up to Newark. Both the original purchaser and user of the tun need to get the book thrown at them. The original purchaser can claim it was stolen all they want, the purchaser needs to be in jail too if they didn't report that gun stolen.

There's ads all over the place that say "don't buy for the other guy" and yet DA's are willing to drop the gun charges to get an easy plea. Fuck all that. Throw the fucking book at them. Legal gun owners shooting paper for fun is not the same as a punk kid who got "disrespected" by another.
