Hello All!

Grandpa and I checking off a bucket list item and heading to a Devils game in a couple weeks!

Our hockey tradition has always been to order Clams in the area, so I figured I'd ask for some recommendations. I am finding tons of Spanish/Portugese high priced restaurants and interesting takes on steamed clams with marinara or cilantro, and to be honest I would prefer a good old butter/garlic (white wine is fine) sauce clam dish that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Even a bar that just happens to have damn good steamed clams would do just fine.

Thanks for any recommendations you may have!

Seabras, Fornos of Spain, Chateau of Spain, Bello’s Pub (seems to only be clams in a fire sauce) or even seafood boils spots there like Red Crab.

You can also consider Spanish Tavern (closer to Prudential) and Campino Restaurant a few minutes away but if you are driving is not a problem.

Thanks! As it turns out, Green Sauce is pretty much what I like, I just needed to see the ingredients. Excited to try it. Newark has quite a bit of Spanish Cuisine.
