I don’t think tow truck can hook your car if there’s someone in the car. A while back I also had to run in a store and parked. When I got back, the tow truck was lifting my car but he never realized my girl (5’1” 110lbs) was in the passenger seat (tinted windows)… she was sleeping and didn’t realize car was about to get towed 😂 I told him she was in there, he checked and got furious… he said I was fucking lucky and said he would be looking for my car in the future. I told him I don’t even live here so go ahead. So, I’m thinking they can’t.
