Mampou is a good Spanish tapas place. Not so sure on the soccer end. Back in the day used to be a great soccer neighborhood but honestly I’d like recommendations myself on that these days.

Other cool places to check out: Sabor Unido, No Pao, Casa d’Paco, Bellos, The Deep Inn, Burkes tavern, Blueprint cafe, McGoverns…

I just came from Mampou. Weird atmosphere after the lunch crowd left. I was the only patron and the bartender sat on their phone the whole time. Accommodating, but I had to get their attention.

Asked another employee about the soccer bars and they couldn’t give me one bar unfortunately. I’d figure with the large Portuguese & Latin American population there would be more excitement around the game

I agree. Delicias de Minas is a Brazilian bar with huge screens. Wouldn’t call it a “soccer bar” per se. Outside of the other bars mentioned, there’s only Spanish and Portuguese members only soccer clubs I think.

Since you’ll be here for a bit though. There’s plenty of more legit soccer bars in the area. Mulligans in Hoboken, 1 Republik in north Arlington, and a quick train ride to NYC for a bunch more (Slainte, mchales, football factory, banter bar etc)
