I had a pair of (super expensive) green cross colours jeans and I remember I used to wear a bright orange shirt with blue sleeves with them back in 9th grade '91😆

Also had a pair of orange jeans. And purple suede shoes haha

Could be. It’s all based on the context the viewer is engaged with. If you were born in 1945 your “old school” would be 1965 and prior. Someone who his born in 1995 their “old school” would be 2015 and prior. With age just comes years lived.
