I remember him from my early 80s childhood when my mom watched Days. And then I remember him again when I spent a few summers in the late 90s enjoying trashy morning soaps for fun. It was wild that damn near every main character was still there, a few played by other actors, and some actors even coming back to their original roles. It was a sad little hit to my nostalgia when him and Stefano DiMeara's actor died in real life.

And now I'm over 40 with my own kids, and still see familiar faces on soap magazines in the grocery aisles. I wonder if Marlena ever got possessed by the devil again, lol.

Alright, who put the question mark on the teleprompter?

FYI this is actually a thing with some news people. I remember one saying they used to have arrows to indicate tone next to the beginning of the story (up is happy, down is serious) or color coordinations for these people and they could flip it on and off like a switch.

Not my proudest moment but I ding dong ditched Jennifer's mom once when visiting a family friend in LA. Our friend let us know Jen's mom lived on the floor above her, and when leaving my dad, sister and I did the crime. Sorry Nancy!

I watched during those times too. Most guys got into it too because all the mom', sisters and gf/wives watched. It was easy to pick up after a year of no watching so, they stick I guess! Monday and Friday were the days to not miss soap opera's. Nothing happened in between lol

Omg this takes me back. I watched Days during the 80s in the summers... I could barely drag my lazy self out of bed to be in front of the TV at 1 pm!! Lol. Anyone remember the "Cruise of deception"? I loved those summer storylines.... life was so simple..."Mom can you make Me some French fries for my show".... After the show I would head out the deck to work on my summer tan.... Ahh the 80s.... Soaps and sunburns
