Sounds are down for sure, if you squint it sounds like English.

You know, it doesn't matter how many times people post this song - and the various videos of the various performances - it's still a brilliant little tune. Me? I prefer the one with the "schoolgirls". Just...yikes.

It honestly has the american english cadence. To someone who doesnt understand the language this propably sounds good.

As an Italian i could tell you Celentano is one of the best artists and performer we ever had. This is intended to be gibberish, he started his career covering 50s rock and roll song in gibberish. This was a reminder of his starting carrer

"it is gibberish, but the beat will make you move." - So, like most pop music.

I've read that he recorded it as a bit of a troll, since he said that Italians would listen to anything that had english vocals. So he made a song of nonsensical lyrics and it was a hit.

How many different recorded performances of this song are there? I’ve seen this same song posted 3-4 times in the last 6 months and it’s been a different performance every time.

I've seen him do live versions of this and the gibberish is always the same. Same sounds every time.

I can remember being a small child and watching TV shows on PBS. I seemed to understand everything pretty well, but as soon as the format changed at 5:30 from children’s shows to national news, this is exactly what it all sounded like to me.

I’m American and it sounds like American rock or country singing for sure, even without any real words

This is so bizarre because when I'm listening to it my brain is trying to make sense of it because it sounds familiar but it's all wrong at the same time. It's like the uncanny valley of sounds.

Ok not gonna lie sounds pretty lame compared to black American recordings in 1972. Said as someone who enjoys Italo Disco and Goblin soundtrack later in the decade.
