Thank you for the comments. I'm definitely proud of everything she accomplished. I'm in awe of the classic beauty of this photo (and many others I have). She still played one of her many harps for us grandkids long after she retired, and I was always mesmerized.

Fun fact: She and my grandfather were friends with many well known people. My grandfather was a Major and was also a decorated pilot. Buzz Aldrin was my mother's Godfather.

Circa 1940's: My grandmother, a professional harpist who played for several presidents, "high society", and was married to a Major in the USAF, while also raising 5 kids.
