Why not Minot? Freezing is the reason

I remember our water lines freezing at our house. Fucking relocatables had no proper foundations. And in I think '92 we had 8ft drifts in front of the garage, payloaders taking a running start down the road to slam into them. Good times up there. But hey, the dry hot summers offset it a little

I listen to a local afternoon radio show in Denver and one of the hosts is from Minot. That’s the only reason I understand this phrase haha
