Basically, yeah. The "samh" part is "sow," as in a female pig (not as in sowing seeds), and the "ain" part can be pronounced as "in" or "an." It should really be "an" but it's unstressed, so may be softened to "in."

As a native irish speaker this is how I say it. Although until right now I did not know a band of this name existed.
