Just two years after girls were allowed to join... My wife back in 1976 when she was about 12 years old. Her and another girl signed up as the only two girls in the Washington D.C. Little League. My daughter started in a mostly boys baseball league and needed better compitition so she joined a girls fastpitch softball league which ultimately led to her being recruited and getting a 4 year scholarship to a Div 1 University...she now is a Div1Womans Softball Coach 😊👍
