It is! These were around in the late 60s-early 70s. The plastic masks I heard were very hot to wear for long periods.

They very much were. The plastic smocks that they packaged them with in the 70s and 80s didnt help at all either.

The best thing about these costumes was seeing them on display in the cool boxes. I always loved that. They used to sell the at grocery stores in my town. Awesome times.
