I had that cassette in the third grade and I wasn’t supposed to have it either it was awesome! I remember we had to make some sort of music video/movie presentation for school and my friends and I made one to gangsters paradise where one person was rapping and the other two were fighting in the background, my friend Austin accidentally got punched in the nose and the blood got all over their white carpet and his mom was this straight laced woman and she was freaking out.

I was at a shop the other day and “California Love” started playing. Boomer Karen said to the other Boomer Karen, “These kids and their rap music”. I thought to myself, if only she knew this song is almost 30 years and most of the people that listen to this are becoming grandparents.

Are you trying to say, “Even my momma thinks my mind is gone?”

So someone called a song Gin & Juice 2 years after snoop had a hit with the same name? Bold move.

Lol, my dad told me to “turn off that rap crap” when I was listening to LFO - Summer Girls.

Yes I’m white from the suburbs.

I remember one of the first CDs I ever bought with my own money was the 1995 Alice In Chains album (the one with the yellow tint and three-legged dog.) Was jamming to it in my room on the shelf system my parents got me for my birthday that year. Got to the fourth song Heaven Beside You and about halfway through my dad comes in, opens my CD player, takes out the CD and snapped it in half along with the CD case without saying a word. I hated him for a while starting that day and it pretty much kicked off my teenage rebellion.

lol! Yeah, thank your mom for that save. You've got maybe two good tracks on there, and the rest kinda blow.. You'd have been better off with any of the pre-1992 NWA albums, Kid and Play, Salt and Peppa, even JJ Fad. lol!
