Bailey Quarters was the Mary Ann to Loni’s Jennifer/Ginger. WKRP was one of my favorite shows and I would have chosen Bailey over Jennifer in a heartbeat.

Yeah, and Mary Ann over Ginger...because of her cream pies

It's so strange. As a kid, it never would have occurred to me. As an adult, it's as plain as day.

Bailey's lack of confidence made her that much more adorable. Also the glasses.

Even when the show first aired, I knew it.

Loni had the THO factor though. Not disagreeing…just throwing that out there.

She’s the sister of a family friend, met her a few times. Nice lady.

My brain processed her back-pocket patch as a cell phone sticking out of her pocket. No.

I would have kicked Loni to the curb just to get to look at this lady.

I found most of the actual article, and it’s interesting that the term “baby boomer” was basically nowhere to be found. It just talks about the cohort of teenagers in the mid-60s. Today everything would have to be labelled incessantly with tacked on generational ranges and stereotypes. I’ve heard that Baby Boomer as a label didn’t truly catch on until the 70s.
