Kinda. She was civil and nice most of the time but she was a New Yorker at heart- don’t cross her. I remember as a kid my friend threw a rock over the fence and hit her in the foot. I can remember her screaming at me like I was yesterday. Hell hath no fury like that voice. I’m still a bit traumatized by it if I’m being honest.
