I wonder if people set clothes out for him, or if he picked his own outfits.

I didn't realize Stevie had been a member of the Village People.

I think I know who picked out his outfit
So_Do_You_Like_Stuff OP t1_j4fwg87 wrote
He had to fight the cowboy in the band, he lost and was promptly kicked out. That’s why you never hear about it. /s

He was on fire with “Songs In The Key Of Life” and “Innervisions”. Both are incredible albums… Just for the City was on Innervisions.

You mean Lil Nas X looks like Stevie. I was thinking more Andre 3000.

Yeah, that’s a weird conspiracy theory. It isn’t without merit though. I suppose he can see vague shapes.

Nah youre right andre definitely looks more like him. And honestly I'm sure he had a cowboy phase (Idlewild maybe?) But the outfit just looks like some Lil Nas would wear today

Is the album cover a gun that's stuffed into an oversized holster?
So_Do_You_Like_Stuff OP t1_j4ge15a wrote
I’m not exactly sure why the paper gun is there, other that it goes with his outfit. The cover is just orange swirls.

craigathan t1_j4ggv8a wrote
Mine neither. I think he can pull it out the holster and wave around the cover like a looney tunes gun. Which is kinda wild and weird.

the tear that Stevie went on in the early/mid 70s was unprecedented, maybe unequaled even today by a single artist. And songs in the Key of Life could have been two killer albums. When it first came out it contained two full LPs plus a seven-inch (at 33rpm) with an additional four songs!
