Beautiful Mark V too! Wasn't that a Bill Blass Edition Mark V?

My Mom got a Champaign colored one in 79. Our young and cranky teething Doberman chewed away a lot of the padding on the outside a week after my Step Dad gave it to her. We walked out and what had been beige was now the blue foam underneath. She was horrified!

Yup, Bill BlSs.

My 79 Mark V was Emilio Pucci.

This model was so sleek, such a gorgeous design. I had to take my drivers license test in it, however and had never driven it before, at all! That was an experience!

Back when ca4s were cool, quiet and powerful. If someone hit that car, you'd pray from them...

My Step Dad hit a car that pulled out in front of him on a back road highway, he was going 55+. He survived, but it was bad. The front looked like an accordion. That was a different one he’d gotten himself that was very short lived. He’d been a Cadillac guy and went back to them afterwards.

Someone ran a light turning left. Destroyed his car...I bought a new bumper!

Yikes! How things have changed. I’ve been pretty lucky despite traveling tons by car for my work back then.
