Hi, my husbands cousin recently came from overseas and is currently living in PA. He was trying to apply to get his drivers license. There’s a woman that is very well known for hating my husband. It’s a fairly small town and she has been “helpful” to his cousin. Well she made the behind the wheel test appointment for him but had him give her his social security card because she said she needed it to make the appointment. She took a photo of it and we’re almost sure she is just keeping it to use it for herself because he is new to the states. His English is not very good and he doesn’t understand she has malicious intentions. Is this true?

Do you have to use your social security just to make an appointment for the behind the wheel test here in Pennsylvania?? Please let me know. If not then we need to do damage control.

Thanks 😭😭

Call the DMV and ask. I don't think you need to show your SS information. I think you need to do damage control.

I don’t think she is doing identity theft. It is even worse than that. I think she asked for it so she can try to see if it is “fake” and try to somehow check immigration status with that. I used date a girl that was born in Mexico and she had people pull this kind of shit with her it is disgusting. I used to have that in the back of my mind in these little shit towns that Karen would get pissed she was with a white dude and try making trouble.

didn’t even think of that… she literally got a job at cvs because my husband sends money so often to his family overseas and she knew this (she used to work at my husbands store before my husband came in as part owner and hated him from that moment because he started keeping count of every dollar that came in and out of the store) now she’s made it her life goal to make his life miserable

Once she get said job at cvs she got his id number and came up to him and said ha I see your license is suspended. Don’t drive or I’ll report you.

Then she proceeded to call the city on the store for it “not being up to code” and it almost shut down the store because the bathroom was the only thing not up to code.

My husband is Arab. She is a white woman. Karen. The most ultimate Karen of Karen’s. But she isn’t racist. Her husband is Moroccan. I think she is madly in love with my husband and hates that he caught her stealing from the store or is just really pissed because some younger guy came in and started running his store and accounting for every single cent and she couldn’t steal anymore.

Or try going to a drivers license center in person and talk to them. I think he just had his identity stolen.

PA requires a SSN for a driver's license or ID Card

I understand this. But I’m not talking about going in yourself. She got his Ssn just to “make an appointment “. He doesn’t know better and didn’t ask me or my husband before he gave it to her. It wasn’t him going in to actually do anything. I know when I went I needed to show my SSN but I needed the physical card. She just took a pic and “make the appointment “

You need a ss number or valid immigration number to obtain a license or learner's permit. It would presumably be obtained well before a road test?

Again, I know this! But I was asking would you need it just to make an appointment. When I went to get my license transferred from CA to PA I needed to be there myself with my physical SS card. I couldn’t show a pic and I didn’t need to have a pic or even need the number to make an appointment but I was just curious if you could possibly need to for a behind the wheel drivers test
